DigiCert, a global leader in digital trust, has recently welcomed Atri Chatterjee as its new Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), signaling a strategic move to bolster its marketing initiatives and strengthen its position in the cybersecurity landscape. Chatterjee brings with him a wealth of experience garnered from his tenure at esteemed companies such as ForgeRock, where he served as CMO prior to its acquisition by Thoma Bravo and subsequent merger with Ping Identity.

At ForgeRock, Chatterjee played a pivotal role in driving the company’s go-to-market strategy, which resulted in significant growth and solidified its status as a leading identity and access management solution provider for enterprises. His track record of nearly quadrupling annual recurring revenue over five years underscores his prowess in scaling global marketing organizations and achieving tangible business outcomes.

Prior to his tenure at ForgeRock, Chatterjee held prominent CMO roles at renowned companies including Zscaler and Act-On Software, where he demonstrated his expertise in cloud security and SaaS marketing automation, respectively. With a career spanning senior marketing positions at industry giants such as Symantec, VeriSign, McAfee, and CipherTrust, Chatterjee brings a wealth of diverse experience to his new role at DigiCert.

Amit Sinha, CEO of DigiCert, expressed confidence in Chatterjee’s appointment, citing his deep understanding of the security market, product acumen, and proven track record in building high-performance marketing teams. Sinha emphasized that Chatterjee’s appointment aligns with DigiCert’s ambitious growth goals, including the aim to surpass $1 billion in annual recurring revenue.
